Trail Blazers Montessori Academy started in September 2010 as a Pre-school with four children! It has slowly built a reputation as one of the few unique child-centred school that followed the Montessori ethos in Ibadan and its environs. Located in a serene environment, accessible from Basorun, Idi Ape, Bodija, Iwo Road, Agodi, Secretariat, etc. The school approach to education creates a safe, happy and caring environment in which each child learn and develops at his or her optimum pace The children are encouraged to express themselves freely using art, music, singing, games, organised group activities, etc, apart from learning Mathematics, English, Science and other Cultural subjects.

Our school facilities are extensively tailored to give a well rounded, cutting edge education to every student.

Creche Centre & Classrooms

We provide Day-care for children between 3 month and 18 months. There are general classrooms and subject-specific classrooms . Each classroom has a 10 student seating capacity, providing adequate spacing for interaction and monitoring by the teacher.

Library

The School Library, located on the second floor is a spacious, room, stocked with relevant textbooks on the Nigerian and British curricula; journals, reference books, encyclopedias and novels.

Recreation

Experienced specialist teachers deliver extra-curricular activities include French, Violin, Keyboard, Drama, Dance, Red Cross, Coding & Robotics, Scout, etc. Games include Scrabble, Chess, Choir, Cultural Club, Debate & Election, Writers Club, etc.

Computer I.T Centre

Well equipped computer centre with latest facilities and Wi-fi. Computers and wireless internet access are also made available in the School Library to facilitate students’ research and learning. Students are however monitored while online to prevent the access of inappropriate data.

Dear parents, we would like to thank you for choosing our School in the process of considering and planning your children's first formal education

Creche (3-18 Months)

We provide Day-care for children between 3 month and 18 month.

Baby feeding and sleeping routines established at home are followed at the outset. Babies have their own sleeping areas. A wide range of toys and play activities are always accessible to interest and stimulate the toddlers.

We open Monday to Friday 6:30am – 6:30pm
The crèche is closed only on Public holidays

Play Group (2 – 3 years)

We employ the Montessori method to provide the best learning experience possible in virtually all contexts:

Practical life – The core of the child’s development
Grace & courtesy / Etiquette – always on-going
Sensorial – The relationship between intelligence and the senses
Language, writing & reading – each child is guided to acquire oral language and written activities which enable them acquire a direct and meaningful experience of the world around them.

Nusery Classes (3 – 5 years)

Although the first school is a lot of surprises, it is the first step for a comprehensive development in all aspects. By creating a safe, consistent and welcoming environment, we help Our school follows the guidelines of the local school district.

Year Level(6 years)

Our Primary education provides learning and educational activities typically designed to provide students with fundamental skills in reading, writing and mathematics (i.e. literacy and numeracy), and to establish a sound foundation for learning and solid understanding of core areas of knowledge and personal development, preparing for lower secondary education.

Online Classes

This is a great time to introduce your child to the benefits of online learning. At this age, they’re eager to explore the world around them with the help of technology.
